Finding and fulfilling God’s purpose in your life.
Keys:
- Believe that you are highly favored.
- Trust God to accomplish His calling through us.
- Say yes Lord
- Be servant minded
- To Glorify God must be our highest ambition
- Wait in faith for God to fulfill your assignment
Many years ago Angie Toomey took a couple of wooden doors and painted Eagles on them. She then wrote the Scripture Isaiah 40:31. This was an awesome testimony for me over the years…because the rest of the Scripture reads: “they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.” When I became faint and weary, I began to sing these words as I began to soar with the Eagles!!!!
I went to a ladies meeting today and heard Laura Trapp Rodich speak. She is as awesome woman of God who has traveled a rough road, yet because she found her purpose in God she can fly with the Eagles. She shared with us the 6 key to finding and fulfilling our purpose for our life. Not sure about anyone else, but I received the message. When I awake in the morning, I thank God for the day and ask Him to let me be a blessing to someone. Sharing a smile, a word and a measure of love to someone…this is what it is all about. The world around us is in trouble. We must be the light in the market place.
“I glorified You on the earth, having accomplished the work which You have given Me to do. John 17:4
This was the Scripture that was given to me last night and Laura presented it again today. WOW! These are the words of Jesus. If Jesus had an assignment, then so do we have an assignment! Sometimes we simply have to ‘listen’ to what the Spirit says and He will tell us what that assignment (purpose) is.
I cannot say that I have not gotten weary and I cannot say that I have not fainted, but I can say that I am standing. I do not have a speaking assignment as Laura Trap Rodich, nor do I have a pulpit like Pastor Steve, but I can speak to the ones who read this blog. Cyber Space is what I call it. Perhaps one person will read what I have to say and make a choice to change their life. Perhaps one person whom I speak with as I go to work will be encouraged. Someone told me yesterday that I seemed to eat and sleep Exfuze. I think about this statement and I know that this has become part of my assignment. I want to serve my community by sharing how to improve their health. I want to serve my God by delivering what I believe is a vessel that will serve to do this.
Being a nurse for greater than 40 years, my assignment has been focused on the health industry. I never thought that I would be into nutritional supplements. Until my diagnosis of Bone Cancer, I truly did not give it a serious consideration. I thought that I was eating good and taking care of myself. Surely within reason, I was. But looking at it from a realistic side, I was just like most of the world, fast foods and irregular eating habits. With a bit of research and listening to Dr. Joe Guarnera with Exfuze,
