Are you ready you CROSS OVER?

Posted By on January 18, 2011

Grow up! This is what I heard the Spirit say this morning.   It is time to cross over…into the promises that God has for us.
2011 is the year of ‘no more limits’.  We can survive or we can thrive.

Survive: to remain alive or in existence.

Thrive: to progress toward or realize a goal despite or because of circumstances.

This has been a very rough week for me.  I know that God has brought me through much over these past 2 years.  I know that He has my future already planned.  I just must access it.  To simply survive means to be in existence and remain alive.  I am tired of being ‘just alive’.  As I go to work each morning and do the best that I can to serve my patients, I wonder, “God what am I here for?”  Many changes are coming down from those in Administration who look only at titles and or prestige of position.  It is not what you can actually do anymore; it is who you know, and what title you have on your badge.  The patients are sicker and in much need of that personal touch more than ever before. This cannot be done effectively because of the ‘task oriented’ schedule we as nurses must function under.   My frustration evolves from this and ALL the politics that prevent me from doing my job.  I am ready to ‘cross over’ as the Pastor spoke of this morning and has been speaking to over these past 2 years.

God, I have nothing to offer you but myself.  I come to YOU ‘empty’ but a willing vessel to be clay in the Potter’s Hands.  I ask that you release me to enter into what you have for me.  I cannot do it for myself.  I no longer want to do things in the flesh but I want what only come by the ‘anointing’.  I know that there is NOTHING IMPOSSIBLE for you.  I come BOLDLY and ask that you take me as I am.  AMEN

Pastor Steve and presented 7 challenges for the New Year and I want to share them with you.
1.  Recommit to a prayer life.
2.  Do not let the opinion of others stop you from your destiny.
3.  Think supernaturally.
4.  Allow the anointing to change your house (you).
5.  Ask yourself hard questions:  Who am I?  What is holding me back?  What do I really believe?
6. Set BIG GOALS and LIVE BIG DREAMS.  Be proactive.
7. LOVE is the KEY.

My choice is to “CROSS OVER”.  How about you?

Till next time.
