Christmas Time
Posted By jessi on December 27, 2010
I had my annual Christmas Eve gathering in my home yesterday. It was beautiful. 16 children in the house and 10 adults. Now for a small house, you can imagine it was cozy for sure. The baby was ‘almost’ 1 year and of course me??(:) Thanksgiving is a time of thanking God for all those things that He has given to us. Some of those things are material, and most of those things are not tangible enough to touch…but none the less, important. Christmas is a time of sharing those precious moments with the family that God has granted us. Thank you God for my family. I appreciate them so much more than they can imagine. The challenges, the obstacles that have faced me this year have been great but I know “greater is He that is in me, than he that is in the world (or those obstacles)”. It is because of this and my family that I continue to walk in victory. If I could give my family anything for Christmas, it would be the confidence in knowing who my Creator is, and the faith in believing that He will direct my path (and theirs) each day that we release our hearts to Him.
Thank you David & Allison, Shane & Sharon, Bryan & Jenny, Chad & Dawn and all those ‘little extras’ who God has blessed me with. I love you very much.
